Islamabad: Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal has assured that efforts will be made to improve the healthcare sector to better serve the underprivileged patients. Speaking to the media during his visit to PIMS, he highlighted the importance of introducing innovations such as telemedicine to ease the burden on existing hospitals.
According to Radio Pakistan, Mustafa Kamal mentioned that they are working towards implementing a one patient, one identity system. This system will not be confined to a single hospital but will be extended to healthcare facilities across the country to streamline patient management and improve healthcare delivery.
The Minister for National Health Services also announced that the Prime Minister will soon inaugurate projects at PIMS, including seven newly established state-of-the-art operation theaters. These initiatives are part of broader efforts to enhance healthcare infrastructure and accessibility for all citizens.
