Economic Crisis Reaches Peak Under Taliban Regime in Afghanistan

Islamabad: In afghanistan economic crisis has reached its peak under Afghan Taliban regime.

According to Radio Pakistan, the latest report by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) indicates a massive decline in investment in Afghanistan due to the Taliban's extremist policies.

The report states that due to the Taliban's failed economic policies, access to banking is extremely limited, with only six percent of the population having a bank account.

According to the report, over 1.6 million citizens have fled the country to escape the illegitimate Taliban regime.

It highlights that Taliban's restrictions on women's education and employment have further deepened the economic crisis.
