Islamabad: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved eleven projects related to several sectors, including Transport and Communications, as well as the Environment. The recent meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the city.
According to Radio Pakistan, the ECNEC also gave the green light to the revised PC-1 of the Dasu Hydropower Project. This project is a significant step towards enhancing the country’s energy resources, aligning with national development goals.
Additionally, the ECNEC approved a policy paper that aims to provide training opportunities for up to ten thousand young engineers each year. These engineers will be placed in development projects, which is expected to contribute to the workforce’s skill enhancement and support various national infrastructure initiatives.
