The Economic Coordination Committee of the cabinet has approved the import of 100,000 metric tons of Urea to ensure sufficient supplies of the fertilizer in the market. This will also ensure stability of prices of fertilizer during the cropping season. The ECC gave this approval at its meeting held in Islamabad today with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair. Source: Radio Pakistan
