Vienna: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with prominent Austrian figures, including Dr. Brigitta Blaha, a former Austrian Ambassador to Pakistan. Dr. Blaha served as Ambassador from 2014 to 2018, a period during which Pakistan and Austria signed a significant protocol amending the Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income in Islamabad in 2015. At that time, Ishaq Dar held the position of Finance Minister.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister also held meetings with Dr. Werner Fasslabend, the former Austrian Defence Minister, and Ambassador Dr. Gabriela Sellner, Austria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna. These meetings underscore ongoing diplomatic engagement and collaboration between Pakistan and Austria.
