New york: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono in New York to review bilateral ties. They expressed satisfaction at the depth and strength of the longstanding brotherly relations between the two countries.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Gaza and the West Bank. They agreed to work closely for a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace in Palestine, in line with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
Recalling the successful visit of President Prabowo Subianto to Pakistan in December last year, Deputy Prime Minister Dar underscored its special significance, noting that it provided fresh impetus to bilateral cooperation and reflected the steady progress achieved over the decades.
