DPM Directs to Provide Relief to Industrial Electricity Consumers


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has directed the relevant departments to initiate the process for providing relief to the industrial consumers of electricity. He issued this directive while chairing the second meeting on electricity tariff for industry in Islamabad today.



According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister reviewed the proposal presented by the Ministries of Finance, Information Technology, and Power. The meeting focused on finding ways to reduce the financial burden on industrial electricity consumers to promote industrial growth and competitiveness. The directive aims to address the concerns of industries regarding high electricity tariffs and enhance the overall industrial productivity in the country.
