New york: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has arrived in New York to participate in the high-level segment of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly. The Pakistan delegation is being led by the Prime Minister.

According to Radio Pakistan, upon his arrival, Deputy Prime Minister Dar was received by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, and senior officials of the Mission. Dar is expected to have a busy schedule in New York, where he will accompany the Prime Minister to various engagements.

In addition to accompanying the Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan in numerous ministerial and high-level meetings. He is also scheduled to hold over a dozen bilateral meetings with his counterparts during his visit.
