Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasized the necessity of digitalizing the petroleum supply chain to enhance monitoring and service delivery. During a meeting held with representatives from the Oil Marketing Association and the Oil Companies Advisory Council, he highlighted the government’s commitment to reforming the sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister assured that the government is dedicated to the reform process, instructing the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to focus on the concerns raised by industry stakeholders. The meeting engaged in comprehensive consultations regarding reforms in the petroleum supply chain.

The stakeholders present submitted various suggestions aimed at boosting the efficiency and transparency of the petroleum supply chain. They also expressed their appreciation for the government’s initiative in involving them in the consultation process.
