Sharda: The Director General of Special Communications Organization has inaugurated the latest Freelancing Hub in Sharda, Neelum Valley. A large number of youth, teachers, dignitaries, and locals attended the inauguration ceremony.
According to Radio Pakistan, the purpose of the Freelancing Hub is to connect youth to the global digital market and provide them with cutting-edge skills. A phased training approach will be adopted where youth will first receive basic training, followed by advanced freelancing skills, and eventually, advanced technical skills.
The Sharda Freelancing Hub is expected to pave the way for a strong and stable digital market across the country. The Special Communications Organization aims to provide equal opportunities for development to the youth in every corner of the country, especially in remote areas.
Currently, sixty-five freelancing hubs and fifteen software parks have been established in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, benefitting thousands of youth.
