New York:Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Dr. Khalilur Rahman, President of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, on the sidelines of the UNGA session.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Senator Dar congratulated Dr. Rahman on his presidency and assured him of Pakistan's support and constructive engagement with the United Nations. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to multilateralism and discussed matters of mutual interest.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence in Dr. Rahman's leadership and assured Pakistan's continued participation in advancing the work of the General Assembly.

In a separate meeting, Senator Dar also held discussions with E.P. Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in education, diplomatic training, and other areas of mutual interest.

Discussions also included cooperation at multilateral forums, particularly within the Commonwealth and the United Nations.
