Delegation of Religious Scholars Led by Maulana Saeed Yousuf Meets IIUI President


Islamabad: A delegation of religious scholars led by Maulana Saeed Yousuf met with the President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) to discuss various aspects related to Islamic education, academic collaboration, and religious harmony.



According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Maulana Saeed Yousuf, who holds the positions of Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir and Vice President of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabiya Pakistan, was joined by several prominent religious figures. These included Maulana Qari Jahangir Naqshbandi, Central Assistant Director of Elections, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir, Maulana Tanveer Alvi, Principal of Jamia Muhammadiya in Islamabad, and Mufti Owais, Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Zakaria, Islamabad.



Other members of the delegation included Maulana Amin, Khatib from Kahuta, Mufti Inam-ul-Haq, Khatib at Jamia Masjid Syedna Ali Al-Murtaza in Rawalpindi, Maulana Sagheer Rabbani, Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir in Rawalpindi, and Maulana Wajid Kashmiri, Deputy Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Jammu and Kashmir.



During the meeting, the President of IIUI welcomed the delegation and underscored the university’s dedication to integrating traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary academic practices. The visiting scholars expressed their appreciation for IIUI’s efforts in serving the Muslim Ummah through both modern and Islamic education. They also conveyed their interest in strengthening the cooperation between religious institutions and the university.
