Islamabad: Defence Day will be observed tomorrow across the country with national zeal. The day will begin with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and a 21-gun salute in provincial capitals. Special prayers will be offered in mosques after the Fajar prayer for the progress and prosperity of the country and the independence of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Radio Pakistan, the observance of Defence and Martyrs Day is a significant national event. The day commemorates the sacrifices made by the armed forces in defending the country. It serves as a reminder of the heroism and dedication of those who laid down their lives for the nation.
