Jhang: Renowned Urdu poet Majeed Amjad’s fifty-first death anniversary was observed on Sunday.

According to Radio Pakistan, Majeed Amjad was born on 29 June 1914 in Jhang. He gained recognition for his poetry, with his first compilation titled ‘Shab-e-Rafta’ being published in 1958. Amjad passed away on 11th of May, 1974 in Sahiwal, and he was laid to rest in his hometown, Jhang.
