lahore: The 15th death anniversary of renowned poet and Naat Khawan Muzaffar Warsi is being observed today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Muzaffar Warsi was born in 1933 in Meerut, India. He embarked on his poetry career by writing song lyrics for Pakistani movies. Over time, he transitioned into a distinguished writer of Hamd and Naat lyrics, contributing significantly to the genre.

Muzaffar Warsi's contributions were recognized with the Pride of Performance Award, honoring his impact in the field of literature and poetry. He passed away in Lahore on this day in 2011, leaving behind a legacy cherished by many.
