He was the son of the celebrated singer Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, and he made significant contributions to the world of music with his captivating voice and memorable performances. His famous songs include "Kal Chowdhwein Ki Raat thi," "Ankhain Ghazal Hain Aap Ki," "Ghar Wapis Jab Aao Gay Tum," and "Umraan Langiyan Pabbhaan Phaar." These songs remain cherished by fans and continue to resonate with audiences. In recognition of his contributions to music, the Government of Pakistan awarded him the Pride of Performance in 2007.
