Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a phone call from Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Dr Badr Abdelatty, who welcomed the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India. Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting regional peace and security.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar also spoke with the Foreign Minister of Greece, Giorgos Gerapetritis, who expressed his support for the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India. Dar reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to maintaining peace and security in the region and beyond.

Both sides agreed to maintain close contact and collaborate at multilateral forums as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council.
