Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has expressed satisfaction over the stock position of sugar and the downward trend in its prices. He was presiding over a meeting in Islamabad today to review stocks and prices of sugar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister directed all concerned that the farmers should also get a fair price for the sugarcane. The meeting was attended by Minister of National Food Security via online, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, and other senior officers from concerned departments.
