Dera ismail khan: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has foiled a planned terrorist attack and arrested a suspected female suicide bomber in Dera Ismail Khan. The arrest marks a significant achievement in the region's ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.

According to Radio Pakistan, the CTD also recovered a 30-bore pistol, ammunition, mobile phones, and other materials from the suspect's possession. The operation, conducted by CTD officials, highlights the department's proactive measures in preventing potential threats.

The CTD's investigation revealed that the forensic examination of the mobile phones seized from the suspect established links to a banned militant organization. This discovery underscores the continued threat posed by such groups in the region.
