A Cross Country Challenge Trophy was held by Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North in peripheral area of Gomal Zam area of South Waziristan. A total of three-hundred players of fifty-nine teams from Dera Ismail Khan and Tank took part in competition. About one-thousand people of the area including elders attended event and supported their respective teams. At the end of competition, each team was given cash prize of ten-thousand rupees as a token for appreciation. Source: Radio Pakistan
