Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced that effective and coordinated measures are being implemented to enhance peace and security in the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement shared on social media platform X, Chief Minister Bugti emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy is being enforced against terrorists and criminal elements. Indiscriminate action is currently underway to eliminate threats to public safety, contributing to a significant reduction in crime rates.
Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the crime rate in Quetta has decreased by seventy percent over the past two months, attributing this improvement to the diligent efforts of law enforcement agencies. He also mentioned that ninety-seven percent of surveillance cameras in Quetta have been made fully operational, further aiding in maintaining security and monitoring the city effectively.
