Constitution of 1973 protects rights of people regardless of caste, creed: Hussain Naqi

Senior journalist and human rights activist, Hussain Naqi says 1973 Constitution provides guarantee to consolidate all federating units of the country with major focus on protection of the rights of every segment of society.

In an exclusive Podcast interview with our Lahore Correspondent Sajjad Parvez in connection with the Golden Jubilee of the 1973 Constitution, Hussain Naqi said both Houses of parliament including Senate and the National Assembly were formed according to 1973 Constitution.

Responding to a question, Hussain Naqi said constitutional future of the country is very bright as all stakeholders including political parties followed the 1973 Constitution, while the 18th Amendment also played a significant role in this regard.
