Islamabad: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Amir Muqam has announced that comprehensive arrangements have been made to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day tomorrow. Addressing a news conference alongside APHC leaders, Muqam emphasized that these preparations were concluded after consultations with various stakeholders, including provincial governments.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Kashmir Affairs reiterated Pakistan's support for the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of self-determination. He assured that the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are not alone, and Pakistan remains committed to advocating for their rights on various platforms. Muqam expressed confidence that Kashmir will eventually become part of Pakistan.
The Minister highlighted the significance of resolving the Jammu and Kashmir dispute for regional peace and stability. He detailed the events planned for tomorrow, including the formation of a human chain on the Kohala Bridge. Provincial chief ministers are expected to lead walks in their respective regions, and in the federal capital, a walk will feature participation from federal ministers, parliamentarians, and other societal segments.
Muqam also mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to address the AJK legislative assembly in Muzaffarabad as part of the day's events.
