Islamabad: Cold and partly cloudy weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain and snowfall over mountains is expected in Northwest and Northern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the Potohar region. Fog and smog are likely to persist over districts of Punjab and Upper Sindh.
According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning showed Islamabad at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore and Quetta at eleven, Karachi at nineteen, Gilgit and Murree at four, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees centigrade.
