Cold, Dry Weather to Grip Most Parts of the Country


Islamabad: Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country while very cold conditions will prevail in hilly areas during the morning and night hours. Moderate to dense fog is expected in Punjab, upper Sindh, and the plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at ten degrees centigrade, Lahore at eleven, Karachi at fifteen, Peshawar at seven, Quetta at minus one, Murree and Gilgit at two, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees centigrade.



Furthermore, the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy and very cold weather in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula. Anantnag and Shopian are expected to experience partly cloudy and cold weather, very cold and dry conditions in Leh, and cold and foggy conditions in Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula at minus one centigrade, Anantnag and Shopian at zero degrees, Jammu at ten, and Leh at minus nine degrees centigrade.
