Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country while very cold conditions are anticipated in hilly areas during the next twelve hours. Moderate to dense fog is expected in Punjab, upper Sindh, and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night.
According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning showed Islamabad at three degrees centigrade, Lahore at ten, Karachi at fifteen, Peshawar at nine, Quetta at minus-one, Gilgit at two, Murree at zero, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy and very cold weather in Srinagar, Baramula, Anantnag, and Shopian, while very cold and dry conditions are expected in Leh. Jammu is expected to experience cold and foggy weather. Morning temperatures recorded in the region were minus-two degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag, nine in Jammu, minus-nine in Leh, and minus-one in Shopian and Baramula.
