Islamabad: Cold and partly cloudy to cloudy weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain and wind with thunderstorms, along with snowfall over the hills, is likely in Balochistan. Rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over the hills are expected at a few places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas during the evening and night.
According to Radio Pakistan, moderate to dense fog in patches may develop over plain areas of North and South Punjab and upper Sindh during the morning and night. The temperature of major cities recorded this morning was Islamabad and Quetta at eight degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar at ten, Karachi at fifteen, Gilgit at five, Murree at four, and Muzaffarabad at seven degrees centigrade.
