Cold and Partly Cloudy Weather to Prevail Across the Country


Islamabad: Cold and partly cloudy weather is anticipated to dominate most regions of the country, with the hilly areas experiencing particularly cold conditions over the next twelve hours. Smog and patches of moderate to dense fog are expected to persist during the morning and night across the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.



According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at five degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at fifteen, Peshawar at six, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at four, Gilgit at minus-three, and Murree at three degrees centigrade.



In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, the weather forecast suggests very cold and partly cloudy conditions in areas such as Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with Jammu experiencing cold and partly cloudy weather. This morning, temperatures were recorded at minus-one degree centigrade in Srinagar and Anantnag, eight degrees in Jammu, minus-ten in Leh, and minus-two in Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula.
