Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather, with particularly frigid conditions in northern regions during morning and night, is expected to persist across most parts of the country over the next twelve hours. Shallow smog and fog patches may occur, especially during morning and night in the plain areas of Punjab.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperatures recorded this morning in major cities were Islamabad at seven degrees Celsius, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at eighteen, Peshawar at ten, Quetta at one, Gilgit at minus two, Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees Celsius.
In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is anticipated in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, whereas Jammu is expected to experience cold and dry conditions. The morning temperatures recorded in these areas were zero degrees Celsius in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian, nine in Jammu, minus six in Leh, and minus one in Pulwama and Baramula.
