Lahore: Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu called on Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for Turkiye’s unequivocal support to Pakistan in the face of Indian aggression.
According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s appreciation for Turkiye’s unwavering diplomatic, moral, and strategic solidarity. She highlighted the deep affection and reverence that the Pakistani nation holds for their Turkish counterparts.
Maryam Nawaz also mentioned that Pakistan is committed to strengthening collaboration with Turkiye to boost trade. She termed the signing of 24 agreements during the 7th High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council as a welcome development, indicating a positive trajectory in bilateral relations.
