Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has paid tribute to Ulema for their continuous efforts in promoting interfaith harmony. He was addressing a meeting held to review the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haraam in Karachi on Saturday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister said Ulema of different schools of thought have always given the message of love, peace, and brotherhood in the country. Murad Ali Shah emphasized that respect for each other’s beliefs is essential for establishing peace and religious harmony in society.
The Chief Minister directed K-Electric and other power supply companies to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Ashura. Meanwhile, a ‘Muharram Monitoring Cell’ has been established in Karachi.
