Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated the first-ever School Transport Program of the province in Quetta today. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony at Government Girls College Jinnah Town, the Chief Minister announced a significant reduction in the number of out-of-school children.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sarfraz Bugti reaffirmed his government’s dedication to meritocracy and efficient service delivery. He announced an annual budget of 79 million rupees for the School Transport Program, ensuring its continuity and expansion.
He described the launch of the school transport initiative as a dream realized, particularly in support of female education.
