Islamabad: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has reaffirmed the shared resolve of Pakistan and Turkiye to further broaden their unique relationship across all domains, reflecting common values, mutual trust, and a strong partnership.

According to Radio Pakistan, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza made these remarks while addressing the Victory Day Celebration ceremony of the Armed Forces of Turkiye, held in Islamabad, where he was the chief guest. He emphasized the enduring, time-tested strategic and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.

During his address, General Mirza extended heartfelt felicitations on the occasion of Victory Day to the people and political leadership of Turkiye, as well as to all ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces. His remarks highlighted the mutual respect and historical ties that bind the two nations.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished civilian and military officials, media personnel, business leaders, members of the diplomatic community, and civil society. Their presence underscored the wide-ranging support for the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.
