Islamabad: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza has expressed his satisfaction over the combat readiness of Pakistan Air Force and the progress achieved through its modernization and up-gradation initiatives. He made these remarks during a meeting with Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu at Air Headquarters, Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee lauded the professionalism and dedication of PAF personnel in safeguarding Pakistan’s aerial frontiers and acknowledged the vital role of the Service in the national fight against terrorism. He also appreciated the seamless coordination among the tri-services and expressed confidence that this cooperation would continue to flourish in the years ahead.
In his remarks, Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu commended the CJCSC’s exemplary services and his pivotal role in strengthening tri-services synergy. He appreciated General Sahir Shamshad Mirza’s significant contributions towards national defence and reaffirmed PAF’s unwavering resolve to continue working closely with sister services to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
Earlier, on visiting the Air Headquarters, Islamabad, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was received by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu. A smartly turned-out contingent of PAF presented the distinguished guest with a Guard of Honour.
