Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang to Inaugurate Gwadar International Airport

Karachi: Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang is anticipated to inaugurate the Gwadar International Airport in Balochistan during his visit from October 14 to 17. The opening is scheduled to coincide with the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Islamabad, where representatives from nine countries, including China, India, Iran, and Russia, will gather.

According to Zameen.Com, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar confirmed that Prime Minister Li’s visit will also align with the SCO meeting slated for October 15 and 16. The Gwadar International Airport, overseen by the Civil Aviation Authority, is poised to facilitate both domestic and international flights and is expected to be one of Pakistan’s largest airports.
