Lahore: Renowned trainer and life coach Syed Samar Ahmad has emphasized the critical importance of proper upbringing and grooming of children in today's world, alongside their education. Talking to Radio Pakistan correspondent Qasim Bukhari at the 39th Lahore International Book Fair, held at the Expo Centre Lahore, he underscored the necessity of understanding children's interests and the factors contributing to their disengagement or lack of motivation.
According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Samar highlighted the importance of strengthening the emotional bond between parents and children, which facilitates guidance and grooming. He advocated for educational content that is comprehensive, simple, concise, and engaging to positively impact children's upbringing.
Syed Samar also discussed his book 'Jug Jug Jeevan,' claiming it to be the first comprehensive Urdu book on achieving a happy and successful married life. He stressed the importance of parents being educated and trained before focusing on their children's upbringing, as understanding developmental needs and parenting responsibilities are crucial for effective upbringing. He concluded by noting that positive change in children begins with positive change in parents.
