Islamabad: Central Development Working Party has approved twelve projects worth over thirty-five billion rupees aimed at national development in different sectors. The meeting of CDWP was held in Islamabad with Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal in the chair.
According to Radio Pakistan, it was decided to recommend six development projects of over two hundred eighty billion rupees for approval by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council. Addressing the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal stated that the development strategy of Pakistan revolves around the 5Es framework and the Uraan Pakistan Program, which include energy, infrastructure, environment, and export-led growth.
He emphasized that these principles will set the country on a competitive and integrated growth trajectory. The Committee approved projects related to the use of technology in the agriculture sector and environment resilience, considering the pivotal role of agriculture.
