Book on Nawaz Sharif’s Political Journey Unveiled in Lahore


Lahore: A book titled “Mard-e-Aahan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif: Hakumat, Opposition, Jala-Watni aur Jail Kahani” written by Muhammad Nawaz Raza was unveiled in Lahore. The launching ceremony was held under the aegis of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists-Dastoor.



According to Radio Pakistan, the ceremony was attended by key political figures, including Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, who paid tribute to the services of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He highlighted the economic reforms and mega development projects initiated by Nawaz Sharif that have significantly contributed to the country’s connectivity, particularly through the establishment of a network of motorways.



The Planning Minister also remarked on Nawaz Sharif’s role in eliminating terrorism and resolving the load shedding crisis during his tenures. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar addressed the ceremony, emphasizing Nawaz Sharif’s initiative in promoting welfare politics in Pakistan. He noted that many of the country’s development projects bear Nawaz Sharif’s name and have laid the foundation for a developed Pakistan.



Attaullah Tarar further explained Nawaz Sharif’s policies concerning Central Asian states, which are nearing fruition through trade agreements that provide routes to ports and sea trade. He criticized the PTI’s governance, pointing out that their politics of negativity and division have damaged the country’s status and failed to benefit the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past twelve years.



The Information Minister acknowledged that the PML-N government’s efforts to rescue the country from economic turmoil, left by PTI, are being recognized by international organizations. He reiterated that these policies are crucial for the country’s economic development and have received international acclaim.
