Islamabad: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Senator Rubina Khalid has announced an increase in stipend amounts ahead of Ramzan, offering financial relief to ten million beneficiary families across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Benazir Kafalat quarterly stipend will be raised from thirteen thousand five hundred rupees to fourteen thousand five hundred rupees, with the enhanced payment set to be disbursed during the month of Ramzan.

The Chairperson also announced an additional increase of five hundred rupees for the Benazir Education Stipends programme. Similarly, a five hundred rupee increase has been approved for the Benazir Nashonuma programme, which provides support to pregnant women and lactating mothers through nutritional supplements and financial assistance.
