Islamabad: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme, Rubina Khalid, has stated that BISP is focused on enhancing the lives of its beneficiaries by providing technical training and ensuring their employability. According to Radio Pakistan, during a review meeting held in Islamabad, Rubina Khalid highlighted that the Lives and Livelihoods Fund, Women Empowerment Wing, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have shown significant interest in collaborating with BISP. These organizations are looking to develop skill training initiatives aimed at empowering the target communities under BISP. The Chairperson directed senior BISP officials to prepare a concept note that would outline potential collaborations with these interested organizations. She emphasized the importance of utilizing their financial and technical expertise to support BISP's mission of improving the livelihoods of its beneficiaries.
