Islamabad: Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to steering the country toward sustainable economic growth. Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he highlighted that the government’s primary focus is on reducing the cost of raw materials and enhancing the competitiveness of the economy. He emphasized the need to foster export-led growth to drive economic development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bilal Azhar Kayani alluded to positive economic indicators, mentioning that the country has achieved economic stability regardless of negative politics by certain elements. He regretted the campaign of PTI against the armed forces, highlighting the sacrifices made by security forces in the war on terrorism.

Bilal Azhar Kayani also mentioned Pakistan’s victory in the May conflict with India and the subsequent increase in the country’s stature at the global level. He stated that targeting state institutions, the economy, and diplomacy under the garb of politics is unacceptable.
