Balochistan Govt to Introduce Hydroponics Technology to Modernize Agriculture

Quetta: The Balochistan government has decided to introduce hydroponics technology to modernize the agriculture sector of the province. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on the Public Sector Development Program, chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity through innovative techniques.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project will initially be launched in ten districts of the province, with plans for future expansion to other districts. This marks a significant step in transforming the traditional agricultural practices in the region.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing the meeting, emphasized that the hydroponics project would create new economic opportunities for farmers in Balochistan. The government is committed to leveraging modern technology to improve the livelihoods of those involved in agriculture.
