Quetta:The Balochistan government has announced plans to initiate the Quetta Integrated Security Project aimed at modernizing the province's security and policing systems.

According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was made during a meeting led by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for enhanced training and resources for police personnel to effectively tackle terrorism-related challenges. As part of the project, new stations for the Quick Response Force will be established. Additionally, efforts are underway to align the Balochistan Police with modern standards to improve their ability to address terrorism threats.
