Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has appreciated Pakistani diaspora for their valuable contributions in bolstering economic, business and investment ties between Pakistan and the United States. During an interaction with diaspora leaders in Washington, the Minister briefed them on the socio-economic developments in Pakistan. Meanwhile, talking to Pakistani-American tech entrepreneurs, the Finance Minister identified IT as one of the burgeoning sectors of the economy and informed that Pakistan ranked among top 5 countries in terms of freelancing.
