Islamabad: Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized the importance of timely progress on the spectrum process to seize emerging opportunities for Pakistan’s economy and society. He conveyed this message while chairing a meeting of the Spectrum Advisory Committee.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, discussions highlighted the significance of spectrum in fostering the growth of IT and telecom services. The committee focused on how spectrum can support exports, create jobs, and drive wider digital adoption across the country.
Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar also attended the meeting. They reiterated the government’s commitment to enabling a digitally connected Pakistan through inclusive, affordable, and high-quality connectivity.
