Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has condemned a cowardly attack carried out by Fitna-al-Hindustan in Balochistan. Talking to the media in Lahore, he said the security forces fought vigorously and successfully repelled the terrorists and defeated them.
According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was fully aware of the situation. He added that India is deeply distressed by the defeat in 'Marka-e-Haq' and emphasized the commitment of the security forces to eliminate all proxies threatening Pakistan. He also criticized Indian media for spreading misinformation about Balochistan.
Referring to the Bara Jirga on Tirah situation, Attaullah Tarar questioned the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government about the allocation of four billion rupees for development in the region, highlighting mismanagement and corruption raised by the political alliance of Bara. He assured that the Pakistan Army will respond decisively to protect the people of Tirah who are facing attacks from Fitna-al-Khwarij.
The Information Minister criticized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for failing to focus on essential sectors such as health, education, and infrastructure. He pointed out that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government should learn from Punjab, where, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, large-scale projects have been initiated and completed.
Attaullah Tarar mentioned that during recent floods, the Punjab Chief Minister personally assisted victims, while KP authorities failed to deliver. He further criticized PTI, saying their only activity is protesting outside Adiala, and noted that governor's rule is a constitutional option in case a government completely fails, though efforts are being made to prevent it. He urged the KP government to wake up and take responsibility.
