New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, briefed the OIC Group of Ambassadors in New York on the latest developments in South Asia.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Iftikhar informed the participants that India’s actions, described as politically motivated and provocative, have created significant threats to regional peace and stability.

The OIC members reiterated their full support and solidarity with the government and people of Pakistan. They emphasized the importance of de-escalation through diplomatic means and stressed the need to address root causes, including the settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with UN Security Council and OIC resolutions.
