New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, has emphasized the importance of multilateralism in addressing global challenges. He highlighted this during an interaction with the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNSRC)-Pakistan Club at the UN headquarters.

According to Radio Pakistan, Asim Iftikhar stressed the necessity for enhanced collaboration between the UN Secretariat and member states to better understand each other’s perspectives and limitations. He pointed out that such cooperation is crucial for effectively tackling international issues.

He further mentioned that cultural diplomacy and people-to-people interactions are vital for building bridges of mutual understanding and harmony among nations.
