Islamabad: Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal announced that approximately forty-five million children under the age of five will receive polio vaccinations across the country as part of the ongoing seven-day anti-polio drive.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kamal made these remarks during a ceremony in Islamabad where he emphasized the importance of prevention over cure. He urged parents to fulfill their responsibility by ensuring their children are vaccinated against polio. The Minister highlighted the government’s focus on improving service delivery in the health sector.
