Kotli: The Pakistan Army has successfully carried out timely rescue and relief operations to evacuate citizens stranded due to heavy snowfall, restoring the Kotli-Nakyal Road for traffic.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the snowfall, rescue and relief operations were conducted in Jandrott and Pir Nasoorah. As a result of the Army's effective efforts, the Kotli to Nakyal Road has been fully reopened for vehicular movement.
The Pakistan Army provided food and other relief items to the affected people. Several families were rescued and given necessary assistance in Pir Nasoorah.
The Army also supplied petrol to a number of vehicles trapped due to heavy snowfall.
Owing to the Pakistan Army's timely and professional response, key ground communication links in the area have been restored.
Despite severe weather conditions, the Pakistan Army remains determined to serve the people and ensure the restoration of normal life.
